Dr. Troy Beaucoudray
Dr. Beaucoudray was born and raised in the New Orleans area. He completed his Neurology residency training at Tulane University and served as chief resident in his final year. Following residency he completed a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology/ Neuromuscular Disease at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. He received specialized training in EMG/NCV and the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the muscle and nerve. Eager to expand treatment options for his patients, he then completed a second fellowship in Interventional and medical pain management at Louisiana State University Health (LSU) Science Center in New Orleans. With his advanced specialized training in Neurology, Neurophysiology, Interventional Pain Management and his previous post graduate training in chiropractic, Dr. Beaucoudray has the opportunity to offer his patients a multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment of pain.
Angela Traylor MD
Dr. Traylor is a specialist physician trained in the field of psychiatry and neurology. At spectrum neurology center she offers a clinic for those with substance abuse/opiate addiction.Through the use of Suboxone/Subutex as well a individual and group counseling on each visit she is able to offer her patients a different alternative against the life altering effects of addiction.
Erika Broussard, APRN, FNP-C
Erika Broussard has been a great asset to Spectrum Neurology Center. She is a New Orleans girl and attended Mount Carmel Academy for high school. She attended the University of New Orleans and obtained her Bachelor of Nursing degree from the LSU Health Science Center School of Nursing in 1998. She received great experience as a nurse working at Charity Hospital for several years with additional experience at East Jefferson General Hospital. From 2007 to 2010 she attended the LSU Health Science Center School of Nursing Masters Program for a degree as a Nurse practitioner. After completing her schooling in 2010, her first job was with Dr. Beaucoudray and has been under his direction ever since.
Lisa Guzman, APRN, FNP-C
Lisa Guzman received a Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2014. Prior to joining Spectrum Neurology Center, she worked as a Nurse Practitioner in the fields of Orthopedics and Family Medicine on the North Shore. Her career as a nurse began in 2009 when she graduated from USM with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing with experience at East Jefferson General Hospital. Prior to nursing, her studies in Healthcare Management took her from coast to coast studying at Western Oregon University and obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree from Providence College in Rhode Island.
